Just dropping you a line to let you know what a good time I had in Vava’u. The team at Beluga couldn’t have been better. They went out of their way to make sure we had the best opportunity to swim with the whales and the diving side of it was great too.
Having the hotel right on the water and in the middle of town was great and very convenient.
I also think Sandy did a terrific job. She had everything organised so I didn’t to do a thing – a perfect holiday. She was terrific in arranging the various activities that weren’t on the water and she never put any pressure on anyone to do anything but always said ‘we can do such & such if you feel like it’. I didn’t even have to think about where to go to dinner – Sandy had it all sorted out. But where I think she excelled was on the last day when we were having our flight problems. Even though the problems were out of her hands she did everything she possibly could to make the situation bearable and get us all back to Australia.
So thanks again, Ron, for organising a great holiday. I think swimming with the humpbacks whales was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Hopefully I can go again soon.

Today I did not take a shot. But I was left speechless and crying tears of joy - what we experienced cannot be put into words:
I like to call it "sound therapy" . we were laying silent, for 2hours, somewhere in the middle of the ocean. Floating just 30m above one big beautiful creature. Every particle of my body is still vibrating from this song of a fully grown Humpback Whale calling a mate.

Vava'u is a place that has no concept of time, a unique place place to just sit and watch the world go by for a week or two. All in all a pretty awesome adventure. "
